Know a business that needs Varo? Send them our way, earn R200.

Sign up below and you'll get a link. Share it with a business you think Varo could help. If they sign up through it and go on to become a paying customer, you earn R200.

  • Paid, not just signed up. The R200 is earned once they've paid for a Varo plan — not for a signup alone. The full terms are below.
  • Payout is manual, for now. There's no dashboard yet — we keep track and pay you directly (EFT) once it's earned.
  • One link, share it however you like. WhatsApp, email, in person — whatever reaches the right business.

Referral programme terms

  1. Who can join. Anyone aged 18 or older. You join by signing up on this page, and you aren't an employee or agent of Varo — you can't make promises on its behalf.
  2. What earns R200. You earn R200 when a business you referred makes its first successful payment for a paid Varo plan (Solo, Practice or Firm). It's one reward per referred business, ever: if that business cancels and subscribes again, there's no second reward. Buying pay-as-you-go credits on their own doesn't earn a reward.
  3. How a business counts as yours. It has to be a new Varo account, created through your link or with your code entered at sign-up. We can't add a code to an account afterwards, and a business that already has a Varo account doesn't qualify. While Varo is in private beta, your link or code also lets the business sign up without a separate invite code.
  4. What isn't allowed. Referring yourself, a business you own or control, or an account made just to collect the reward. Spamming — share your link with people you know and who'd reasonably welcome it, not in bulk or in public groups. Misleading anyone about what Varo does or costs. If we reasonably believe a referral broke these rules, we may withhold its reward.
  5. When and how you're paid. We pay by EFT once the business's payment has cleared and hasn't been refunded or reversed, and we aim to pay within 30 days of that. When a reward is due, we'll email you at the address you signed up with to ask for your bank details. We never ask for them on this page. If the payment is refunded or reversed before we've paid you, that reward is no longer due. Once we've paid you, it's yours.
  6. Tracking. There's no dashboard yet. We keep track of referrals ourselves, and our records decide whether a business was referred by you and whether it has paid.
  7. Tax. Rewards may be taxable. You're responsible for your own tax.
  8. Changes. We can change or end the programme at any time. Rewards you've already earned stay payable.
  9. Your information. How we handle your details is covered in our Privacy Policy. These terms sit alongside our Terms of Service and are governed by South African law.
